The Apartment

Here we are unloading the truck...alone. The day we arrived in Concord was the day our new ward scheduled a temple trip.  Nice.  Thankfully, after a while the missionaries came!  And, oh, did we need them!  We still had our heavy furniture left to unload.

Here's our "before" apartment shots.  I'll be posting the "after" later.

We're Here And We're Alive!

My Dad, "The Tetris King!" (as quoted by Matt)

For our move to NH we ordered a 16 foot Penske moving truck (the same size we had when we moved to NC).  Once it was in our parking lot, I panicked.  What were we thinking?! We had purchased furniture while in NC!  Every fiber of my being believed our stuff would NOT fit into that Penske truck.  I felt so strongly about this that I made Matt pick-up a U-Haul trailer.  When my parents arrived, my dad looked at the truck and said "It can be done".  I was still worried.  Oh, my little faith...   What happened next was a modern day miracle!  My dad was able to fit EVERYTHING into that truck!

Multiple "munchie" runs to WinCo with the Martin family in Utah
Spending a whole day with Ammon and Amanda
Waking up to sweet baby Lucy and Miles every morning in St. George
Spending time with St. George family
Participating in a Silly Girls photo shoot
Playing hours of  Rock Band in St. George and in Bodega Bay
Staying in a beach house with my family in Bodega Bay
Staying in a beach house with the Martins on Emerald Isle
Spending time with family and relatives
Watching some great movies and eating delicious food
(These next few are just for me)
Having some quality girl time with my lady-friends in Greenville

Right now we're finishing up our packing.  Please pray for us!  Tomorrow my parents fly into Raleigh and then Wednesday we're GONE.  :(
Here's Matt trying to help. Bless his tender heart!

Sunday Storm

This just happened! We could hear the rain drumming on the roof for most of the storm. This rain is a nice relief to a long week of hot summer weather in North Carolina. I daresay I may miss it after we leave!

Now It's Time To Say Goodbye...

Tomorrow afternoon, Trey's mother (Monique) is picking up her baby's things.  My time with Trey has come to an end.  I'm going to miss my little buddy!  My babysitting experience with him has been nothing but memorable.  I've learned so much and pray I'll remember everything for when I have my own babies!

I didn't take pictures of Trey when I first started watching him.  This is the earliest photo I could find.
Isn't he sweet??  He was such a lil' nugget then.  Now, he's like a full grown man-baby!  On June 16th, he'll be turning the big 01!

Just so you know, he stacked these all by himself!

These pictures/videos are from Saturday.  For those of you who know Matt, that is the day (if his work load permits) he plays video games with his brothers.  It doesn't happen too often.  But, when it does, Matt gets WAY into it!  Trey could hear him from the family room and wanted in on all the action.

Quack, Quack

Near the hospital, there is a pond.  And in that pond, there are duckies!  One day, we fed them.
