Bad News and Good News

The Bad:  We had a little mouse in our apartment.
The Good:  Matt is now licensed to help said mouse's family through their grieving.

  1. ah sometimes mice have to die, but YAY for Matt! What does this mean? Is he done with school, can you move closer to us and start making babies???

  2. I'm very glad to finally be licensed. However, the state board made the mistake of granting me a PhD even though I haven't graduated yet! So I need to call them for a reprint. :)

  3. Ha! I wish Staci. No, it just means that I can start practicing therapy on my own without a supervisor. Each state has licensing requirements. But I am in the middle of looking for jobs out west! We're hoping to be closer to family. :)

  6. Congratulations on getting your NH license as a Marriage and Family Therapist! Hopefully the next state you move to will have reciprocity with NH and you won't have to re-take their exam. You might have a conflict of interest, however, in counseling the mouse's surviving family members after killing him. You might want to discuss this possible ethical issue with a supervisor.
