Our last days in Chicago and a visit to PA

We had lots we wanted to do in Chicago before leaving for NC. We were blessed to make one last trip to the Chicago temple and to say goodbye to our stake president who works there as the recorder.

Enjoyed a final dinner with our good friends, the Beers, from the Morgan Park ward.

What our apartment looked like everywhere you looked. I swear those boxes were breeding over night.

Our moving crew. They made a big difference!
After we loaded up the van we made our way to PA to spend a few days with my family.

After church on Sunday we took a walk outside and picked up trash along the way.  This is a tradition Ron started the last time we stopped in PA en route to Chicago.  Mica came along ... to take pictures.  The landscape was breathtaking.

Great picture especially with Mark dragging his newly found blanket.
Corn is looking good this year.

Enjoying lunch at the Pure and Simple Cafe in Greencastle, PA.
 Just about to watch Superman!
The girls did a little shopping before we ate dinner at a delicious Mediterranean grill.  Mica and Julia ended up buying matching skirts and sweaters.
